Hello!
Greetings and Happy Wednesday! As most of you know, we are in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
and thankfully we missed Hurricane Alex this week as it stayed off of the Coast here and passed
us by. We’ll keep our fingers crossed that we’ll be this lucky for the remainder of the hurricane
season!
Plans are underway for additions to the Partners in Success website and we welcome your input.
We’re working on a “Newbie Corner” which will include helpful resources and tips for newcomers to

Six Ways To Create Income With Your Web Site

Here are six simple ways to create additional income with your web
site!
1. Sell advertising space on your web site. You could sell banner or classified ads. If you want
to make more money, sell sponser ads that get top placement or the best
exposure.
2. If you have enough web space, you could rent other people web pages. You could also give
them away for fr~e and make money by including your banner ad on the web
pages.
3. Charge people a fee to access part of your web site. People will pay you money for your web
site content if it's valuable to them. The content can be ebooks, reports, software,
etc.
4. Sell your own products or services. They should be related to your target audience. You want
to be able to take credit cards on your site and deliver your product to them as fast as
possible.
5. Make money selling other people's products and services through affiliate
programs. They'll give you
a link to all track your sales. You could be paid per sale, click or sign-up.6. Publish an ezine from your
web site. Have them subscribe to the ezine right from your web site. You could sell classified or sponsor
advertising inside your ezine.

Q. I want to make my own website and have been doing some reading about it. I see this term a lot, “WYSIWYG editor“. What does this
mean?
A. Marilyn, a “WYSIWYG editor” means “What you See is What you Get”. Commonly used WYSIWYG editors are Microsoft Frontpage and Dreamweaver. These editors are great for those who do not know how to write actual html coding. With a WYSIWYG editor, you just type in your content, choose your colors and formatting and the editor converts it all to html for you! We use Frontpage and love
it!

Web Fonts
Always use Times New Roman, Verdana or Arial font. Don't try and use other fonts. The reasons are simple. These 3 fonts are very easy on the eyes and the use of other fonts could mean your page looks very different on other systems than you intended for the simple reason that not everyone has the same fonts on their
computer.
