What Is ‘Blast Your Ad’?
Is it a scam?
‘Blast Your Ad’ is a website by Mike Filsaime to provide you with a legal and easy way to drive traffic to your website. This is done by literally ‘blasting’ your ad to millions of ‘targeted prospects’ each month.
The way your ad is blasted is via email. These emails are sent to a large mailing list of members who have opted-in to receiving ads. The theory is that your ads will get clicked and you will see product sales go up, even if you only see 10 clicks out of every 1,000,000 “million” ads you send out.
The cost of this product, in the form of software which you pay a one-time fee to download, is $47.
Is Blast Your Ad A Scam?
When you attempt to leave the site you will quickly be offered a ‘discount’ of $10 – lowering the price of their software to $37. This discount is supposedly offered by a live agent, though this discount is in fact offered to each and every visitor automatically upon attempting to leave the page. However, this does not make the product a scam.
Blast Your Ad make a number of claims as part of their sales pitch, including the fact that email marketing can help to increase your profits by as much as 800% overnight. While this may be ambitious, it is certainly true that email marketing can increase profits. Though you must be careful as to how this email marketing is being conducted.
The truth is that these email lists are legal, just as Blast Your Ad Claim, but they also mention briefly that the lists are comprised of other people like you – people who have bought the product and ‘agree to receive information from each other’. This is otherwise known as a safelist.
Does It Really Work?
Safelists are a marketing tool widely used on the internet. There is a chance of a response to your email ad, but look at it this way:
Everyone who signs up is signing up in order to advertise their own product. Nobody signs up there for the sole purpose of reading adverts. The likelihood is that they will be bombarded with emails (as will you when signing up) and they will pass by your ad, and you will receive little or no response for your money.
Whether this is worth the one-time cost of $47 is up to you, but you may find your money better spent in advertising campaigns that have been proven more successful.
On the other hand what we have found to be the most effective advertising is Solo Ezine Ads where you send your ad to other responsive business opportunity seekers and receive no email in return.

Mike Filsaime has been one the top IM gurus for years. He’s on top of his game in all areas, I would imagine. What I like most about his products or services are their functionality and crisp clear web 2.0 appearance. I will admit most of his offers are overpriced, but he’s playing a good game and can charge as much as he wants if people will buy it. There are some other less pricey alternatives to Mikes stuff. Charles & Susan have some them here at this website.

I’ve done it before and got nowhere and that includes Solo Ads.
There is no way to check if your ads were blasted thru emails..
